I am passionately driven to help my students reach their objectives via patient encouragement. I presently teach math and physics at an esteemed New York secondary school. I hold a Bachelor of Physics from the California Institute of Technology and a Master of Mathematics Education from Bard College. I hold certification in the area of grades 7-12 mathematics and more than seven years of teaching experience. I assist students in developing the analytical skills they'll need if they wish to attend Ivy League schools or top tier universities. I am also experienced at helping students prep for SAT, ACT, and AP exams. I've taught a range of mathematics classes and truly understand the confusion and challenges associated with these subjects. Some of the specific topic areas I can assist with include: Algebra 1, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3, Geometry, Middle School Math, Trigonometry, and more. I teach students to think critically instead of simply memorizing answers. Additionally, I try to provide the best tools and methods for solving problems. I would enjoy sharing my knowledge to help you reach your academic potential. When I am not teaching I like to read comic books and play video games. My other interests include baseball and aircraft.
